Guidelines for Virtual Committee Meetings and ARRT Laptop Use
Please review the following guidelines to create a secure, efficient, and effective process for virtual committee meetings.
Plan on attending the meeting in a private secure location free from interruption, using the ARRT laptop provided. To mimic a face-to-face meeting, you are required to have your camera on during the meeting.
Please consider the following regarding laptop use:
- The laptop provided is the property of ARRT.
- The laptop must be returned promptly following the committee meeting. Failure to return the laptop within the designated time may result in legal action.
- Downloading/installing apps, software, and/or programs onto the laptop is strictly prohibited.
- Modifying the laptop configuration/settings is strictly prohibited.
For those participating on ARRT Exam Committees, the requirement that ARRT exam items remain confidential and the fact that the accuracy of exam items is paramount in maintaining the validity of exams, we ask that you attend the virtual meeting in a location that meets the following criteria:
- Current ARRT registrants or students aspiring to be ARRT registrants are not able to see or hear meeting materials and/or discussions.
- No individual besides the committee member is able to see or hear meeting materials and/or discussions.
- Video or audio recording of the meeting by a committee member or other individual is prohibited. This includes screen shots of the meeting materials.
- Do NOT log on to Exam Review until instructed to do so by the Assessment Development Coordinator faciliting your meeting.
- Any notes taken during the meeting are confidential and must be destroyed as soon as the meeting adjourns.
- Use of personal devices is strictly prohibited during the meeting.
We understand and appreciate that each committee volunteer has a unique situation that may be complicated (e.g., access to internet, family members or roommates working from home, children that are not able to attend school or daycare). Please contact ARRT ahead of the meeting if you have specific concerns about being able to attend the meeting in a secure environment.
