This is an imaging profession; we love images!
Having images attached to items helps illustrate the idea or problem, and helps clarify what the item is asking. Committee members love these items; they often select them over other items.
Item Writers:
One of the Item Writers currently using the ARRT ImageBank website to improve their items said, "Oh it was incredibly easy. No complaints whatsoever…it was seamless."
If you have forgotten how to access this website, please contact your Exam Development Coordinator.
Committee Volunteers:
If you are in an exam committee meeting and would like to see what is available in the ImageBank, please ask your EDC during the meeting.
Do you have--or are you able to create--images to donate to ARRT?
Here are some examples of the types of images that ARRT volunteers can submit:
- image you've captured with your facility's imaging equipment
- photo you've taken of equipment
- photo of a volunteer (e.g., coworker) demonstrating positioning, equipment use, etc.
- drawing you have created for an item
Only submit images that you have the rights to, and that you have not distributed to others or used for other purposes. Refer to your committee contract for further copyright details. If you have images that meet these criteria, please send an email to volunteers@arrt.com. We will send you access to a Dropbox-style site for ARRT to receive your images after you have removed any personal identifiers from the images.
