We're excited to share an update on the development of ARRT's new credential: Imaging Assistant, Magnetic Resonance, I.A.(MR)(ARRT). We just finished the foundational phase: collaborating with a committee of subject matter experts (SMEs) to define the scope of practice, structured education and clinical competency requirements, and exam content specifications.
This work is a team effort. Our Assessment Development Coordinators, Assessment Production Associates, and psychometricians work together with a committee of SMEs at nearly every stage. Before each committee meeting, ARRT staff prepare extensively to help facilitate discussions and shape the credential framework.
Next, we're moving into the pilot testing phase. This is where eligible candidates can take the exam, helping us gather valuable data to refine the test.
Stay tuned for the next update, where we'll share how pilot testing is progressing.
