Our Imaging Assistant, Magnetic Resonance examination committee is composed of a diverse group of professionals, including practicing MRI technologists, remote scanning technologists, supervising technologists, MRSOs, physicists, and active radiologists. This varied expertise ensures that we have representatives from different backgrounds, geographic areas, and practice environments, enriching our discussions and decision-making processes.

Our exam committees meticulously evaluate each test item (question) for technical accuracy, relevance to entry-level tasks, and adherence to effective question-writing principles. Our trained staff curates a pool of questions from the item bank that aligns with the content specifications of each discipline. During a two-day in-person or virtual meeting, the examination committee reviews these selections to ensure the material is up-to-date and pertinent to the current standards of the discipline.

As IA (MR) is a newly established credential, our current exam committee does not include any imaging assistants. However, we are eager to welcome IA (MR) credentialed professionals to our committee as soon as candidates begin to register in this field in the near future!

If you or someone you know works in the discipline of MRI, we are always looking for new volunteers! Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions.
