ARRT currently has 24 registered technologists (R.T.s) that work with about 125 other employees at ARRT. They hold a variety of certifications, including radiography, nuclear medicine technology, radiation therapy, sonography, mammography, CT, and MRI. R.T.s are employed in different departments, including continuing education and renewal, government affairs, and ethics. They use their knowledge gained while working as R.T.s in healthcare facilities for their various roles at ARRT. For example, R.T.s in the exam requirements and psychometrics department work with volunteers to develop the ARRT exams and documents, such as the content specifications and clinical requirements. ARRT's CEO is certified and registered in radiology, mammography, and sonography, and uses her experience to lead the organization.
Most of the positions for R.T.s are hybrid, which means employees live in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area but can work from home two to four days a week.
