Life can be chaotic and stressful, and because of this, sometimes we forget to appreciate positive aspects of our lives. A quick and manageable activity to help focus on the positive things is to write it down!

A Gratitude Jar is a delightful way to keep positive thoughts alive and accessible. You simply take a small piece of paper and write down a thankful, happy, important, proud, or positive thought. Place the paper in the jar and have a plan to read the contents on a regular basis. For example, your family could read them as a Thanksgiving tradition. You can do this individually, at work, as part of a group (like volunteer committee), or with friends.

Here are a few examples:

·         I am proud to serve on an ARRT exam committee.

·         I am excited that my child made their first goal in soccer today.

·         I am thankful for my friend who makes me laugh when I am feeling down.

·         I cherish my memories of my first cat.

·         I am happy that my co-worker received an award.

Please, take care of yourself and remember the good things in life.
