Bridget has been a volunteer on the Mammography Exam Committee.

What first prompted you to volunteer with the ARRT?
When I got the letter to apply I wasn't sure what it was, but I was excited to look into it. I reached out to a previous volunteer and she only had positive things to say about the experience so I could not wait to get involved.

When did you start volunteering with ARRT?
2020

What type of volunteering have you done with ARRT?
I have participated on the Mammography committee.

What do you enjoy the most about being a volunteer with ARRT?
Having conversations with other volunteers from other parts of the country that bring diverse experience to the table.

If you could give advice to someone who is interested in volunteering with ARRT, what would that be?
Don't feel intimidated to join. It really is a great experience to get involved in. You will be helping shape the field!

What do you like to do when you are not working or volunteering with ARRT?
As a new mom most of my free time is spent with my precious baby girl, husband and family.

The Mammography Exam Development Coordinator, Shelley Coutu, says, "I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Bridget on the Mammography Exam Committee.  She brings an excellent depth of knowledge and real-life mammography experience to our meetings which is critical to creating an exam that is practice-based. She is friendly, kind, and respectful to her fellow committee members."
