Elizabeth Eslich has been an item writer and has volunteered on the Registered Radiologist Assistant (RRA) Essay, Practice Analysis, and Exam Committees.

What first prompted you to volunteer with the ARRT?

"I received a letter in the mail asking if I was interested in volunteering.  I had no idea what it would entail but decided to fill it out and see what happened."

When did you start volunteering with ARRT?

"In 2008, in the RRA Practice Analysis Committee."

What type of volunteering have you done with ARRT?

"I have volunteered for RRA Practice Analysis, RRA Essay Grading, RRA Exam, item writing and Fluoroscopy Standard Setting."

What did you enjoy the most about being a volunteer with ARRT?

"I enjoy meeting new people in the radiology profession and discussing (or debating) the various radiology topics."

If you could give advice to someone who is interested in volunteering with ARRT what would that be?

"Do it! It is so much fun and an experience unlike any other.  I have made lifelong friends at ARRT."

What do you like to do when you are not working or volunteering with ARRT?

"Likely you will find me volunteering with the ASRT or RAD-AID or working on advocacy. Otherwise, I enjoy spending time with my family hiking, skiing or swimming."

The RRA EDC says, "She is always there, always replies to e-mails, and totally enjoys being on committees. She requests PTO as soon as she knows the dates of the next meeting." She is really on the ball!

From ARRT, we thank you for all that you do Elizabeth!
