In fall 2023, committees of volunteer technologists and radiologists for Bone Densitometry, Computed Tomography, and Breast Sonography met and had detailed discussions to determine what may have changed in these fields since ARRT last conducted practice analyses (i.e., job analyses) roughly five years ago.
From these discussions, surveys of tasks were created that ARRT will be send in Spring 2024 to a random selection of technologists working in these disciplines. The committees will use the survey results to update the examination content specifications, clinical experience requirements, and CQR structured self assessment content specifications. If you receive a survey, PLEASE complete it. We want our examinations to reflect what technologists are currently practicing, so your input is vital.
