We are so pleased to expand the Assessments department with the addition of Matt Korpi!

Ann Miller, Senior Assessment Development Coordinator says, "Matt is great to work with. As a trainer, you expect there to be gradual increase in taking on processes as the new person. Matt is not letting the grass grow under his feet!  He is already assisting with or taking on the duties in MR."

Matt will receive extensive training and ultimately take over managing all things related to CT and MRI, including the Exam, Practice Analysis, and Standard Setting committees, as well as Item Writers for both disciplines. Matt brings to ARRT almost 10 years of MRI experience, including neuro, MSK, and breast imaging.

When asked why he was interested in working at ARRT, Matt replied, "I want the opportunity to use my knowledge and education in another way other than direct patient care. Working at ARRT gives me a chance to have an impact in the medical imaging community in a unique way that will be a new challenge for me."

In his free time, Matt and his wife, Kasey, love to cross-country ski in the winter and go boating in the fall and summer. They also love to travel and highly recommend Quebec and Scotland. Last, but not least, Matt is a huge sports fan and enjoys following Minnesota teams. Go, Vikes!
