Each year, we ask our committee volunteers to agree to ARRT's AI Acceptable Use Policy. This policy helps protect ARRT's core values and minimize risks, especially when volunteers assist with exam content development.
We've recently updated the policy to include guidance on using AI-powered notetaking tools-such as transcription services, voice recognition, and automated meeting assistants. These tools can unintentionally capture and store information in ways the speaker didn't intend.
What's new?
Please don't use any automated notetaking tools during ARRT meetings, whether
virtual or in person.
What do you need to do?
If you're a current volunteer, no action is needed right now. When your current
policy agreement expires, you'll be asked to sign the updated version. In the
meantime, just keep this change in mind.
Thanks for helping maintain the integrity of ARRT's credentials!
