We'd love to share what an Assessment Production Associate does here in the Assessments department at ARRT!
A Perspective from Our Newest Team Member, Darlene
As an Assessment Production Associate, I perform many behind-the-scenes tasks that ensure the success of our team and volunteers. You'll often see us in meetings-troubleshooting issues, coordinating with IT, and ensuring smooth communication across teams.
Our responsibilities also include reviewing submitted items from item writers. We check for correct grammar, active voice, and clarity; and we also edit images and videos to ensure everything meets ARRT standards. After eight months in this role, I've found that working with grammar-especially active voice-is both challenging and rewarding. It plays a key role in helping candidates understand test items clearly, which leads to better testing outcomes.
In addition to content review, we manage several operational tasks: running reports, maintaining files, sending email reminders for upcoming meetings, and formatting documents to keep them current and professional.
It's a dynamic role that blends technical skills with collaboration, and I'm excited to continue growing in it!
